Ages 8-16: Weekly prize given to the angler with the largest registered LARGEMOUTH BASS by weight. ( EVEN IF YOU HAVE A BASS ON THE BOARD YOU CAN STILL WIN FOR THE WEEK)

Week 4: July 14th to July 20th (Walleye 8-16)(4-7 blue gill )

Ages 8-16: Weekly prize given to the angler with the largest registered WALLEYE by weight
WINNER:  There were no anglers that caught a walleye this week to win a prize

Ages 4-7:  Weekly prize given to ALL anglers 4-7 that catch and registered the a BLUE GILL for the week. 

WINNERS:  Ellie, age 5 & Koda, age 4, both caught a Blue Gill. Ellie won a rag doll from Sodus Needs, and Feeds, and Koda won a Banana Split (the size of her) from The Dugout in Wolcott.

Noah House also won with a Blue Gill and receives a Portable Live Bait Aerator from Bay Bridge Bait shop.

 Week 3: July 7th to July 13th (perch)

Ages 8-16: Weekly prize given to the angler with the largest registered PERCH by weight

WINNER:  Jillian Thomas was the first angler, by date that landed a perch – A Fishing Package from Davenport’s Bait & Livery.

We’re also awarding Aaron Snyder a weekly prize, Aaron tied for perch. – A perch fry dinner at Rileys in North Rose.  We’re pretty sure Aaron’s family with join him.

Ages 4-7:  Weekly prize given to ALL anglers 4-7 that caught and registered a PERCH for the week.

Week 2: 6-29th to July 6th (Smallmouth)

Ages 8-16: Weekly prize given to the angler with the largest registered Smallmouth Bass by weight

Ages 4-7:  Weekly prize given to the Angler that caught and registered the a Smallmouth Bass for the week. (anglers need either a small or largemouth bass to win the derby)

WINNER: There was no winner for week 2 that caught a Smallmouth Bass

 

Week 1: 6-21st to 6-28th (Largemouth , Rock Bass)

Ages 8-16: Weekly prize given to the angler with the largest registered Largemouth Bass by weight
WINNER: Parker Williamson – a gift certificate from SIX50 on the Bay

Ages 4-7 Weekly prize given to the angler that caught and registered a Rock Bass
WINNER: Jackson Flynn – Jackson wins 2 Banana splits (or equivalent) at Hot’s Point in Sodus Point.

Each week, the  Wayne County Youth Derby Committee awards prizes to anglers who catch a specified species. Prizes have been donated by local business. Winners will be announced on the Sunday OR MONDAY following each week.
